Do you have experience selling to the multi-family industry? Do you have experience in nationwide accounts? The National Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients and connecting with key business stakeholders. The Account Manager also answers client queries, prepares reporting, and identifies new business opportunities among existing clients. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire client experience.

Salary range: $80k - $85k

Travel: 60%

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Work with the National Sales team supporting large national clients including property management companies, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT), and ownership groups across the country
  • Develop strategies in conjunction with the Valet Livings sales team to maintain and grow revenue for clients
  • Work with the national account sales team and other sales team members to manage and grow the client portfolio
  • Responsible for portfolio retention and client relationship management with large national and regional property management companies
  • Participate in national and regional events, including association and client conferences
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with corporate executives, regional managers, property managers and leasing teams, to make sure we are adhering to our service standards
  • Delivers client feedback to internal teams identifying needs, ideas, and challenges in an effort to grow the business and strengthen client relationships
  • Implements strategies and processes that deliver consistent client satisfaction and retention
  • Track opportunities to contribute towards the account management team goals and metrics
  • Prepare regular progress reports and deliver to senior sales leadership

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally as you will be viewed as the brand ambassador for Valet Livings suite of products
  • Strong problem-solving skills to achieve successful outcomes
  • Be innovative and creative to meet client needs
  • Soft sales skills or a formal sales background
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized with the ability to prioritize while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Experience in multi-family industry and ability to support sales during the entire prospect and client life cycle
  • Ability to maintain a frequent travel schedule.
  • Adaptability to effectively embrace and utilize rapid changes in software to promote sales and contact engagement
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams within the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 3-6 years in a business-to-business multi-family sales environment
  • Experience negotiating complex sales and contracts with ability to cross-sell an enhanced product line of multi-family products and team collaboration using Salesforce for CRM and ability to use advanced analytics
  • Previous project management skills to effectively focus on proper allocation of efforts between clients
