Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, with a dotted line to the Regional Vice President of Valet Living Home Operations, the National Director of Sales, Valet Living Home is responsible for managing expressions of interest from new and existing multi-family communities for industry leading services and transitioning them into clients. This role is initially expected to be national in scope during the rapid roll-out and national expansion. The National Director of Sales, Valet Living Home promotes the brand within the multifamily industry while driving market expansion, recommends innovative approaches to service delivery, and embraces technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Drive sales with in-person visits to major markets nationwide to prospect, engage, and close new accounts and cross-sell existing business for the new Valet Living Home services.
  • Participate in a twice-weekly executive call with firm leadership to update the status of the sales pipeline as this is a high visibility focal point of the firms expansion plans during the roll-out.
  • Meeting with Decision makers at the National account partnership level with property management firms to drive multiple community contracts.
  • Prospect for new business through developing relationships through cold calling, networking, appointment setting, industry associations, referrals and other outbound lead generation techniques ranging in scale from national firms to individual multi-family properties.
  • Cultivate relationships with property managers, onsite teams and regional managers through property visits and conducting a consultative and needs based analysis based sales system
  • Primary responsibility for performance metrics and communication in Valet Living Home integration with other Valet Living divisions
  • Prefer a centrally located home-base, such as Dallas, or alternatively a major market area that Valet Living serves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally as you will be viewed as the brand ambassador for Valet Livings suite of products.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized with the ability to prioritize while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Expert multi-family industry knowledge and ability to shift from prospecting, to closing, to customer service seamlessly between clients and prospects.
  • Ability to maintain an extensive travel schedule
  • Ability to leverage your industry knowledge to make Valet Living Home the premier home amenity that successfully exceeds the aggressive growth goals of the firm.
  • Adaptability to effectively embrace and utilize rapid changes in software to promote sales and contact engagement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • A of 3-6 years in a business-to-business multi-family sales environment.
  • Prior experience negotiating complex sales and contacts with ability to cross-sell an enhanced product line of multi-family products and team collaboration using Salesforce for CRM and ability to use advanced analytics.
  • Ability to frequently travel on a national scale with extended time away from home.
  • Previous project management skills to effectively focus on proper allocation of efforts between converting new prospects and existing clients.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing while and working on a computer

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver license and good driving record
